Woof Wool

I picked up a magazine last night that talked about spinning your dog’s hair into yarn.  They called it “woof wool.”  I had originally thought about doing this, as my dogs are prolific shedders.  What kept me from doing more is that you can’t really spin just the dog hair.  You have to card it with wool or alpaca at 50% or more.  So, it helps a bit with the cost of spinning, but dog hair is super warm and pretty itchy.  Not sure what I’d make out of it, even if I had some to spin.  I like the term”woof wool,” though.
